Born  in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Obtained Bachelor of Economics (Malaya, 1972) and Master of Business Administration (K.U.Leuven, 1978). Joined government service in 1972 and served in various senior positions in the government from 1983 until 2003. My early interest to analyse stock market data helped me in my stock market investment and making fairly good predictions of stock market trends. This encouraged me to apply similar analysis based on multiple regression models on voters’ sentiment and predictions of by-elections results.I have built up a fairly large data base for this purpose. Now, with the launching of this weblog, I am an active, independent and non partisan political observer and analyst on the internet.

1. Umno menyumbang 109 daripada 133 kerusi yang dimenangi BN. Umno bertanding 120 kerusi kali ini. Angka 109 kerusi itu menunjukkan peningkatan pencapaian sebanyak 23 peratus berbanding PRU 2008 apabila BN memenangi 79 kerusi Parlimen daripada 117 kerusi yang dipertanding.
2. Bagi Dewan Undangan Negeri (Dun), Umno berjaya menguasai 244 kerusi daripada 339 kerusi yang dipertanding berbanding 239 daripada 338 kerusi pada 2008.
3. MCA yang bertanding 37 kerusi Parlimen dan 90 DUN alami kemerosotan paling teruk dalam sejarahnya apabila hanya menang 6 Parlimen dan 10 DUN.
4. Senarai kerusi yang dirampas Pakatan Rakyat dan BN , dan kerusi yang Barisan Nasional rampas dari Pakatan Rakyat.
 
 
 
Kami kongsikan perbandingan keputusan PRU12 yang berlangsung pada tahun 2008 dan PRU13 yang baru diumumkan malam tadi:

PRU13 : BN 133 (-7), PR 89 (+7)
Total 222 kerusi

PRU12 : BN 344, PR 161
PRU13 : BN 275 (-71), PR 230 (+71)
Total 505 kerusi
